Welp. If you live in Arkansas, you never really know what season it is this time of year. Sometimes its below freezing in the AM and sometimes it's sunny and park-weather the same afternoon. As they say here, "If you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes."
I am READY for Spring.
1) Do a mudroom swap: Wherever you literally "hang your hat" when you walk in the door may need a seasonal update. Maybe some of those hats and gloves can be replaced with almost open-toed shoes and SPF? Is it time to stow your sleeping bag coat or slanket? Give everything a good a clean and put it away for another year.
2) Clean out your fridge! So- maybe not weather related, but cleaning out my fridge gives me life. I may kick out all of the half open broth boxes to get ready to make way for some fresh produce. I use these little clear organizers to separate my food "departments'. ;)
3) Put away your 2018 taxes and set up your organizing system for 2019. Gah do I struggle with getting my taxes together for my accountant (who is amazing by the way if you need one). But I usually pull it together by February/early March-ish. I use an expandable file folder to separate all of my receipts all year long and it sure is helpful! I separate by category and pretty much keep every receipt. Once I have my actual return in my hot little hands, I file it in the back of the accordion filer, I literally snap it closed and chuck the whole thing in the attic to (hopefully) never be seen again!
